Platform / DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Platform / DevOps Engineer at arveum Intelligence, you'll build the delivery infrastructure for a growing AI recruiting platform — from CI/CD and observability to Infrastructure as Code on bare-metal servers in German data centres. You report directly to the Founder / CTO and start immediately.

Requirements

• Bias toward building rather than specifying; daily hands-on practice with an AI coding agent.
• 5+ years operating Linux production systems, including plain virtual servers.
• Built CI/CD from scratch, GitHub Actions preferred, with reusable templates.
• Docker and Docker Compose in production, with reproducible builds.
• Prometheus and Grafana, including alert design and SLOs.
• nginx or Caddy, TLS, ACME, and correct WebSocket proxying.
• Postgres operations: backup, point-in-time recovery, safe schema migration.
• Enough Python to debug a FastAPI service; enough Node to build a Next.js image.
• Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform or Ansible.
• Ephemeral / preview environments for small teams on a limited budget.
• Mesh VPN operations, e.g. Tailscale or WireGuard.
• Experience operating a system under a contractually agreed uptime commitment.

What we offer

• Remote within the EU, full-time.
• Core overlap with CET, at least 09:00–15:00.
