AI Fullstack Engineer

About the role

End-to-end platform development for an enterprise product where AI agents act as team members. You start solo and build the entire stack — from the Mission Control frontend (React/Next.js) to backend services (Node.js/Python) for multi-agent workflows — working directly with the founders on product and architecture. Within 12 months, you'll lead a team of 4–6 direct reports and collaborate in a matrix with 3 engineering teams. You build for enterprise customers across multiple regions, actively contribute to ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance, and have direct customer contact — e.g. during onboarding, technical demos, or solution design. Primary work location is München (on-site); travel to enterprise customers is not a regular occurrence. Scales from early adopters to thousands of enterprise tenants.

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of professional engineering experience (frontend and backend)
• AI-first mindset with daily LLM usage and a solid understanding of agent systems
• TypeScript/Node.js and Python with deep React/Next.js expertise
• Understanding of distributed systems (queues, event-driven architectures, asynchronous orchestration)
• API design, webhook architecture, and authentication systems (JWT, OAuth, HMAC)
• Experience with ISO 27001 and/or GDPR requirements in software development — including contributions to technical policies and measures
• Willingness and ability to mentor junior engineers within 3–6 months (code reviews, mentoring)
• Self-driven working style in an early-stage environment
• Some experience leading or mentoring junior developers
